Buscrates - Home Again Cassette

“This tape gave me the chance to create without being beholden to any preconceived ideas of how it should sound. For much of this project, I would make something out of a few samples and then proceed to layer them with analog synthesizers. While not the only synth on deck, the Korg Minilogue played a significant role in creating these tracks. Some were made while living in Atlanta and the others were created back here in my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA...hence the title Home Again.”

Equipment used on this project: Samplers (Akai MPC2000XL and Roland SP-404SX), Electric pianos (Rhodes & Wurlitzer 206a), Korg synthesizers (Minilogue, Monologue, MS-20 Mini, Microkorg, Poly-800), Moog Little Phatty and Sequential Prophet-6.
